Modeling Transient Flow in CO2 Injection Wells by Considering the Phase Change
نویسندگان
چکیده
A transient model to simulate the temperature and pressure in CO2 injection wells is proposed solved using finite difference method. The couples variability of properties conservation laws. maximum error between simulated measured results 5.04%. case study shows that phase state primarily controlled by wellbore temperature. Increasing or decreasing rate contributes obtaining supercritical state. density can be ignored when low, but for a high rate, ignoring this may cause considerable errors profiles.

Analysis of Transient Flow in the Case of Secondary Injection for Transient Vector Control (RESEARCH NOTE)
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the flow field structure in transient state and performance of secondary injection system for thrust vectoring in divergent section of a two-dimensional nozzle. Secondary injection for thrust vectoring in a two-dimensional nozzle is studied by solving three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged equations by means of fluent solver. Spalart-allmaras model was used ...
متن کاملTransient thermocapillary flow in rectangular tanks with phase change
A numerical and experimental study is performed on transient natural convection in an insulated rectangular tank. The liquid is suddenly heated by a line source or cooled by a line sink being placed at the center of the free surface to initiate a thermocapillary force. Evaporation or condensation takes place on the free surface. A finite-difference technique is employed to numerically integrate...
متن کاملModeling for Free Surface Flow with Phase Change
The development of predictive capability for free surface flow with phase change is essential to evaluate liquid wall protection schemes for various fusion chambers in IFE and MFE. This paper presents a numerical methodology for free surface flow with heat and mass transfer to help resolve feasibility issues encountered in the aforementioned fusion engineering fields. The numerical methodology ...
متن کاملNumerical Modeling for Multiphase Incompressible Flow with Phase Change
A general formula for the second-order projection method combined with the level set method is developed to simulate unsteady, incompressible multifluid flow with phase change. A subcell conception is introduced in a modified mass transfer model to accurately calculate the mass transfer across the interface. The third-order essentially nonoscillatory (ENO) scheme and second-order semi-implicit ...
